We are a family run business based in Otley, West Yorkshire, specialising in the sale of fibres for feltmaking and hand spinning. We welcome orders both in person and by mail order - see our contact page for further details.
Born out of a family wool business operating in Bradford from the 1930s and well known for being trusted and respected in the trade, the firm of Adelaide Walker has been carrying on the tradition for the past 25 years.
Quality of fibres, value for money and of course customer satisfaction have long been our priorities. To these we have now added the convenience of finding us on the Web.
However please remember there is still the friendly voice of Ian or Margaret at the end of the phone ready to help and this is how we intend to continue running our business, in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
After browsing through our list of fibres you may wish to telephone us for further information and if you find something of interest, then we shall be happy to send you an appropriate sample — for example, our range of coloured wool tops. Customers can be confident in the knowledge that our much acclaimed Merino wool tops have been sourced exclusively from the same high quality supplier for over 20 years.
