I have recently graduated in Contemporary Textiles from West Wales School of the arts, with my main exhibition piece constructed from merino wool purchased from you. The piece is a large neck piece which is equally at home on the wall as a contemporary wall hanging.
Angela Barrow felted this fibreglass curlew for the Grassington Festival, using Blue Faced Leicester, Swaledale, Shetland and some Teeswater curls.
Scarf handknitted from my own handspun yarn made from a blend of Camel and Silk. The lacy pattern emphasises the lustre, drape and softness of this beautiful fibre.

A felt piece inspired by the apple blossom in spring. I love the whole picture making process from choosing the wool colours to stitching the final bead and finding a frame.
Hand spun yarn from Merino tops. The colours on the right are achieved by mixing two colours of Merino tops. In the centre I've added white to create the lighter shades, and on the left added black for darker shades.

“Me Sensei and I “
A
piece made for my Buddhist mentor, Daisaku Ikeda, to celebrate his 80th
birthday. It was made as part of a European wide project to express how
his teachings have affected our lives. Here I express through colour
how my life has opened up and the joy I find in my 2 year old son by
incorporating one of his drawings in threads.
Felted in Merino on a Blue Faced Leicester base.
A Wall Panel made from 100% Merino wool, and inspired by a tray of pansies waiting to be planted out. Colours have been carded together to give depth to the petals and leaves. Prefelted pieces were added to the background and some needlefelting was used for greater definition, before completing the felting process. Approx size 54cm wide x 48cm.
