PRICE LIST
Fibres are priced per 500g unless otherwise stated. However any weight can be purchased from a minimum of 50g per fibre. In the case of mixed dyed wool tops amounts under 500g should be ordered using our 100g packs each containing three colours of your choice (see below).
All goods subject to availability.
Discounts of 2.5% given on orders over £45. 5% over £90. 7.5 % over £180 with further discounts on larger orders. No discounts on equipment and books.
Prices include VAT and if required VAT invoices are provided. Unless otherwise arranged, orders should be accompanied by a cheque (made payable to Adelaide Walker) and should include the appropriate postage (see below). Sorry, we don't currently accept payment by credit or debit card.

We usually keep in stock an average of 40 different colours of Merino and a smaller range of English and
58s Dyed Wool Tops. The available colours in the Merino range do vary from time to time and it may be
necessary to supply an alternative shade unless the order has been placed using a current set of samples.

The use of the Bradford count in the descriptions above signifies the fineness of the wool. It is based on the number of hanks of yarn, each 560yds in length, which can be worsted spun from one pound weight of wool fibres eg. if 56 hanks are spun the count is 56s.

POSTAGE AND PACKING (weights refer to amount of fibres)
The Post Office has recently introduced a new system of charging for packets. This has made it necessary to revise our postal rates with effect from April 2007.
In order to minimise the increases you will see that we have also revised the weight bands and this has made it possible to actually charge less than before in the case of some weights below 1 kilo.
