BFL x Jacob raw fleece - 100g

A raw unwashed Blue Faced Leicester (BL) cross Jacob fleece sourced from a local breeder. The fleece has been left 'in the grease' as some spinners prefer but it can still easily be felted. It's a soft wool in a lovely dark coffee brown colour with the typical tight BFL curls on the ends of the locks which are a caramel colour. ' In the grease' means that the lanolin has been left in the fleece. It can be used in this state for spinning or feltmaking or may be hand washed in warm water to remove the lanolin before use.

Please note that this is unwashed fleece which may contain organic matter. Hands should be washed thoroughly after handling the fleece or wear gloves to handle it.
