Love Over Gold - 100g

Inspired by the album cover for Love Over Gold by Dire Straits this blend is brought to you by Simon. "This is my blend, inspired by the 1982 Dire Straits album, Love Over Gold. While probably not my favourite of their albums, the album cover works much better for blends than Making Movies, and it does remind me of starting college in 1983. At that time, of course, people had hifis, music was vinyl and not virtual, and pretty much every male student had a copy of 'Love Over Gold. I think it was part of the entrance requirements.  It's Shetland in blues and purples, with a lightning streak of white bamboo running through it, and it's a luvvvvly spin. Especially if you don't have Industrial Disease....."  Deep blue / purple shades of Shetland wool combined with white bamboo to create a striking blend (83%/17%)  Use it for felt making or spinning.
