AUGUST NEWSLETTER
Hello all. You asked, so we've arranged a Saturday open morning next month on Saturday 19th September 9.30am - 12.30pm at our shop in Addingham, West Yorkshire. Come along and feel the fibre, try the equipment , ask questions or even bring your wheel to the wheel clinic with Simon. If you can't make that, we will also be holding one on Saturday 5th December but we'll remind you about that one nearer the date.
Our blend for August is Coral Reef, it's rich coloured and gorgeously soft as it's 100% British, Blue Faced Leicester wool and this time, it's Charlotte who wants to take it home with her.
Charlotte is teaching drop spindle spinning at the Southern Wool Show later this month but you'll have to be quick as there's only one place left. She will also be teaching at Stafford Wool Gathering and I will be teaching circular loom weaving there too. The next felt workshop is felted wrist warmers on Friday 19th September at our shop in Addingham. Book your place here.
Our free wheel clinics are held monthly. The next dates are Thursday 13th August and Tuesday 8th September. Remember we can both check if your wheel is running okay and make minor adjustments and we can also help with advice on fibre, tensioning or drafting.
