SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

I'm told I'm not slightly insane but completely nuts (thanks family) how about you? We said we'd decorate during lockdown, ha! But we have managed it this week :-) Are you keeping busy? Lots to tempt you this month.

For anyone needing a woolly fix you can pop along to see us anytime Tuesday to Friday 9am to noon, no appointment necessary but please wear a mask if you're able to.

There's just two of our fibre advent calendars left so grab them whilst you can. We've also got just 10 more of the Blackberry Fairy merino batts available, it's been very popular and I'm so glad you like it as I love it! It's so exciting to be inspired by nature. If you're into pink then take a look at our Hera blend or our Unashamedly Pink merino batt, I don't know what came over me (victorian swoon), that's my excuse anyway.

We have 3 new books to take a peek at, we hope you'll like them and do let us know if there are others you'd like us to stock. This weekend we also have 10% off all books just use code BOOK2020 at the checkout. Now I have to brag about my talented family. You all know that Simon makes a lot of our drop spindles here in Ilkley and comes up with some unusual designs but it's time for him to fly and if you'd like to see what else he makes then you'll now find him on instagram as @northernspindles. Charlotte does a fantastic job with our social media but is also flexing her wings and has launched @sea_and_bee where you will find unusual hand embroidered designs on pre-loved items. Simon has a website coming soon and Charlotte will be opening an etsy shop, I hope you'll be able to pop by and lend them your support.

Coming up we have Yarndale, Kendal Wool Gathering and StitchFest all of which will be virtual wool shows this year, I hope you can join in. Let's hope we can meet up for real next year.

Keep crafting, keep smiling.

Take care

Angela
