Micron: 36-40 Similar in appearance to a Leicester Longwool- A tall, massive sheep with a long and lustrous fleece. May be spun or used in felt and doll making. It dyes up very well and makes a very strong yarn if blended with a shorter finer wool or Mohair when spinning. It's on the RBST at risk register as a priority breed which makes it a rare breed.
