We have for sale an Ashford Traditional Spinning Wheel, from the 1970s. It has been stored for a while, but is in good running order. It comes with:

  • new sliding hook flyer and one bobbin
  • new drive band
  • new brake band set
  • new leather conrod joint
  • new orifice hook
  • new tension knob (hand made as the ashford replacements will not fit this wheel)
  • new flyer bearings (which allows easier changing of the bobbin)

Buyers are very welcome to try the wheel before buying, please let us know if you are planning a visit.
