Wool nepps (tiny tangled balls of wool), slubs and burrs are a great way to add texture to your projects. Silk carrier rods are a by-product produced during silk production, They contain the natural gum(sericin) which makes them quite rigid. You can spin directly from them or soak them and split into layers for paper making or adding to your felt making projects.
