MARCH NEWSLETTER
These longer days are so good for crafting, what are you doing with the extra daylight?
As WonderWool Wales is rushing towards us next month (don't forget to pre-order if you have something specific you'd like us to being) we're busy creating new blends and this month are unveiling Sugar Snap. It's gorgeous fresh green tones of Merino blended with natural white Dorset Horn. Dorset Horn is a British rare breed. Also new, is Sea Foam a delightful shade of Merino wool tops, perfect spring colours.
For the felters amongst you we have two new shades of water sprinkler; lime and aubergine and for felters and spinners alike we have soft unwashed grey with ginger tips Alpaca fleece. It is a beautiful fibre, so much so, I've kept some for myself. In our sepcials section you'll find a limited number of Glimakra, Toika and swedish shuttles.
Thank you so much to everyone who very kindly sponsored Simon last month in his walk raising funds for Cancer Research. Simon raised £536 and walked a total of 116 miles in 28 days with a little company along the way from; me, Charlotte, friend Les and Dylan the dog.
I'm running both drop spindle spinning and wheel spinning workshops in the coming months and there are a couple of Saturday dates available. We're thinking of running a core spinning workshop too, would anyone be interested?
